Body of kidnapped boy found in Barabanki

The body of Ankit, the 13-year-old son of laboratory technician in Lucknow, has been recovered near Barabanki.

Ankit was abducted on Friday and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs five lakh. No ransom call was received after that.

Investigators say Ankit was killed on the day he was kidnapped as he may have recognised the kidnappers.

Although the family claims they had no enmity with anyone, three people are being questioned.
